As a fast-growing company, we are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer for our headquarters in Amsterdam who will help build the core of our product.  

About the job

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Alphadoc, you will be responsible for building the core of our developer experience platform. You will be responsible for your own deployments and infrastructure changes. You will work closely with the whole team (currently we're a team of 7) and get an opportunity to engage with customers for feedback. As one of the early engineers on the team you'll work on many sides of the project and have the opportunity to design and build the foundations of our product.

You will

• Be involved and help lead in prototyping, developing, and releasing functionalities on the platform;

• Build upon all aspects of the platform, from the frontend to backend and infrastructure, along with defining our architecture;

• Help expand the engineering team with room to take on a leadership role over time;

• Communicate with external stakeholders and partners, and provide assistance with onboarding new clients;

• Have a huge impact on how we scale and prioritise functionality in line with requirements from the business.

Back-end stack

• AWS as cloud provider;

• Typescript as main backend programming language running on Node.js;
• AWS Lambda functions orchestrated by the ApiGateway;

• SQL and NoSQL databases;

• Infrastructure as code;

• Other AWS services such as S3, SNS, SES;

• Gitlab / Github as source code repository.

Front-end stack

• React library;
• AWS CloudFront;
• Jest, EditorConfig.. A classic modern stack in all its aspects;
• Gitlab / Github as source code repository.

About you

• You are passionate about building tools that improve developer experiences;

• You're comfortable working with both front-end and back-end systems;

• You have strong knowledge of Node.js;

• You have strong knowledge of front-end and libraries like React or Vue;

• You're familiar with SQL and NoSQL databases, serverless technologies, and setting up deployment pipelines;

• You strive to building scalable infrastructures;

• You have experience with testing and debugging;

• You're analytical and good at time management;

• You have great communication and problem-solving skills;

• You're curious about new technologies and you're excited to find ways to implement them in your work;

• You can oversee and drive projects forward;

• You are based in the Netherlands / willing to relocate (a working visa for the EU is a requirement).
