Alphadoc is building state of the art products for developers like you. We are building a platform from scratch with a modern tech stack based on AWS Lambda, React and Typescript. You will work closely with a talented interaction designer to build a highly dynamic graphical interface. Not your typical website, but a fully featured web application. 

As a fast-growing company, we are looking for a Senior Front-end Engineer for our headquarters in Amsterdam who will help build the core of our product. 

About the job

As Senior Front-end Engineer you will be one of the early engineers on the team, you'll work on many sides of the project and have the opportunity to design and build the foundations of our product. You will work closely with the whole team (currently we're a team of 7) and get an opportunity to engage with customers for feedback.

You will

• Be involved and help lead in prototyping, developing, and releasing functionalities on the platform;

• Build upon the front-end aspects of the platform along with its user experience;
• Work closely with a talented interaction designer to build a highly dynamic graphical interface; 
• Help expand the engineering team with room to take on a leadership role over time;
  

• Communicate with external stakeholders and partners, and provide assistance with onboarding new clients;

• Have a huge impact on how we scale and prioritize functionality in line with requirements from the business.

Front-end stack

• React library;
• TypeScript;
• AWS (CloudFront / Lambda);
• Jest, EditorConfig.. A classic modern stack in all its aspects;
• Gitlab / Github as source code repository.

About you

• You are passionate about building tools that improve developer experiences;

• You have strong knowledge of front-end and libraries like React or Vue;

• You have experience with and passion for data visualization;  

• You like to create advanced interactive web applications (drag & drop, Pie Charts, etc.);

• You're familiar with APIs, have a general understanding of backend processes, and know how to set up deployment pipelines;

• You strive to build scalable applications;
  

• You have experience with testing and debugging;

• You're analytical and good at time management;

• You have great communication and problem-solving skills;

• You're curious about new technologies and you're excited to find ways to implement them in your work;

• You can oversee and drive projects forward;

• You are based in the Netherlands / willing to relocate (a working visa for the EU is a requirement).
